Moments after she came out of the prison two ambulances were seen going inside the prison, and the family was told to collect the bodies of the two brothers from the morgue.According to various reports the death sentence against Mr. Latifi has once again been confirmed and has been sent to the branch carrying out sentences to be executed. There have been a number of reports suggesting the execution may be carried out tomorrow (May 18th 2011). In any event it is clear that the risk of execution of Mr. Latifi is imminent and I call on all activists and organizations who took part in the campaign of Fatehi brothers to also do what they can to stop the execution of Mr. Latifi.
Mass executions by the Regime have always signaled Regime’s fear and despair from the people. We have seen this in 1981, summer of 1988 and most recently after the June 2009 [s]elections. When the Regime feels threatened and weak it kills, it kills in order to bring fear and terror to the heart of the people. In order to make sure people are too afraid to rise up. In the past few months once again we have seen a similar pattern of almost daily executions in Iran, which can only signal the terror of the Regime from the people.
One can only hope that people of Iran will come to realize their strength, and the Regime’s fear from them. People of Iran are strong, and the Regime has gotten extremely weak, especially in the past two years, making the overthrow of the Islamic Regime a real possibility. I hope that through this tragedy and perhaps others to come we do not lose sight of this reality.

How do I know if my 2 year old is having night terrors? | Sleeping ...
I have a 2 year old who will be three next month. He has night terrors (bad dreams) every blue moon. But the way I can tell is when he sleeps he cries in his sleep…no tears just the sound. He breaths heavier too. Don’t wake her. Let her wake up on her own. You could really scare her if you do. Leave the light on all night if need be. My son sleeps with a night light and a lamp on all night. Hope this helps.

It does not sound like your daughter is having night terrors.
"Nightmares occur during the dream phase of sleep known as REM sleep. Most people enter the REM stage of sleep sometime after 90 minutes of sleep. The circumstances of the nightmare will frighten the sleeper, who usually will wake up with a vivid memory of a long movie-like dream. Night terrors, on the other hand, occur during a phase of deep non-REM sleep usually within an hour after the subject goes to bed. This is also known as stage 4. (A link to a sleep stages chart can be found on the navigation bar to the left) During a night terror, which may last anywhere from five to twenty minutes, the person is still asleep, although the sleepers eyes may be open. When the subject does wake up, they usually have no recollection of the episode other than a sense of fear."
My daughter has night terrors. She will appear to be awake, screaming uncontrollably, but she will still be asleep. Nothing I do can soothe her because she is not aware of my presence. She one time even tried to run outside in the snow in nothing but her night gown to catch her daddy, who was in bed asleep! (fortunately she was unable to get the dead bolt unlocked before I got to her) After a few minutes, sometimes up to 20 minutes, she will just stop, lay down and be back in a peaceful sleep.
Sleeping with the light on should have no effect on night terrors. My guess would be that she is waking up and is just scared of the dark and wants mommy.
