Missing 11-year-old Oceanside girl located
OCEANSIDE (CNS) - An 11-year-old girl who was missing from her home overnight returned to her parents Sunday.
Abigail Garavaglia returned home on her own accord around noon, according to Lieutenant Joe Young of the Oceanside Police Department.
Police would not release details about her whereabouts from 4:30 p.m., Saturday, when she went missing, until the time she returned home.
Seven Oceanside Police officers searched for the girl in the downtown area and near the pier.

OCEANSIDE (CBS 8) - The Oceanside Police Department is asking for the public's help Sunday in locating a missing juvenile at risk.
Abigail "Abbey" Garavaglia was last seen at her residence in the 300 block of South Strand in Oceanside at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Garavaglia is an 11-year-old white female. She is approximately 4 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs about 80 pounds. She has brown hair, blue eyes and freckles.
She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black skinny jeans and had a skateboard. Garavaglia suffers from ADHD and is considered at-risk due to her age. She is known to frequent the area of the Pier and downtown Oceanside.

The Escondido City Council gave police permission on April 13 to accept the county's federal grant funds and order the BearCat. The Oceanside Police Department has not yet asked the Oceanside City Council to accept the federal money.
